Contestants can expect to answer questions about history, geography, national symbols, entertainment, people, politics, wars, landmarks, sports, food, fashion, etc.

Yes, it is okay for students to team up and compete. A team is made up of three (3) students and a school can bring up to four (4) teams. Up to five (5) students can compete individually from one school.

Admission to the competition is Free. However, we appreciate that registrants show up and compete.

Our events are posted on eventbrite.com. You can register there. A link will be provided for the segment or the State you are competition for. You can also fill out this registration form.

The competition is open to the general public, admission is free and the minimum age to compete is ten (10). There are tournaments for K-12 and college students and the general public. We strongly encourage and welcome schools to participate.

Studying for this Quiz is just like preparing for any other competitive event. We have created Practice questions and the Resource Hub to provide helpful information about each country in Africa. Our book series is also available on the website Store, Malaprop Bookstore, on Kindle and Nook.  Of course, there are other sources of information about the continent on the web.

The Quiz competition is held at major cities around the United States and will eventually go global.

Certainly. We have collaborated with and hosted at the local and international festivals, local bookstores, Summer camps, global education conferences, Sport Meets, Fundraisers and annual celebrations. Please contact us if you’d like to have the competition held at your establishment.
